Sales are moving briskly at East Gate on the former Fort Monmouth army post, encouraging developer RPM Development Group to unveil two new models that capture the modern luxury, designer lifestyle and historic charm offered in Officer’s Row, the community’s final housing phase.
The models showcase the popular home designs that have generated buyer interest in the collection of just eight detached and attached single-family homes. Aptly named for the role it formerly served as residences of high ranking officers stationed on Fort Monmouth, Officer’s Row is a limited offering of homes situated in some of most desirable community locations with scenic waterviews of Parker’s Creek.
The models include a fully-furnished three-bedroom single-family attached home located at 11 Allen Avenue and a vignetted single-family detached residence at 17 Allen Avenue.
“East Gate is one of the most unique residential offering in the market and the model homes have played a key role in the sales success we’ve experienced to date,” says Michael Hong, assistant vice president of Development at RPM. “They’ve been an invaluable tool to display how this community perfectly blends its contemporary interiors with storied exteriors that date back 100 years. We’re incredibly excited to debut these two new models and provide prospects an even broader look at the luxury home plans and one-of-a-kind lifestyle we offer.”
East Gate features 68 townhomes, duplexes and single-family residences created in fully-restored, century-old officer’s housing at Fort Monmouth.
Palermo Edwards Architecture has remodeled the buildings’ interiors to create new two- and three-story homes with luxurious kitchens and bathrooms and a high level of style and comfort. Generous floor plans feature designer elements, including modern kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, stainless-steel Kohler fixtures and GE appliance packages; and master-bathroom suites with double vanity countertops, Moen Eva faucets and showers with built-in benches and semi-frameless shower doors. Residences also provide hardwood flooring throughout first floors in the townhome designs and throughout both first and second floors in the duplex and single-family floor plans.
Homes in Officer’s Row are priced from the upper $700,000s and feature spacious dining/living room, open concept kitchen, expansive master bedroom suite with lavish master bath and sitting room and den. Residences provide spacious backyards with large patios to take advantage of the water views of Parker’s Creek. As an added bonus, crown molding can be found throughout the main living level and hardwood flooring is included on both the first and second floors, desired finishes not available in previous duplexes.
In addition to Officer’s Row, a limited number of townhomes and duplexes are available in Phase II at East Gate priced from the $500,000s to the mid-$700,000s.
Residents at East Gate enjoy being part of the Jersey Shore’s premier live/play community. An abundance of amenities and services are nearby, including the Marina at Oceanport, parade grounds, open space and walking and biking trails around Parker’s Creek. There’s also East Gate Park, a one-acre outdoor space featuring a monument paying homage to Fort Monmouth’s storied past, pedestrian pathways, benches, lawns, seasonal flowers and shrubbery, and a modernized lightning/lantern package.
Expected to open this summer are The Fort Athletic Club fitness center and The Loft microbrewery and event space, located in the former Dance Hall. The Fort Monmouth Bowling Center, a recreational amenity planned to include a bar, bocce courts, pool table, stage and more in the Eatontown portion of Fort Monmouth, is on pace to be completed this year.
Oceanport is one of Monmouth County’s most desired residential settings, combining a distinctly suburban environment with award-winning schools. The borough also provides a commuter-friendly location with easy access to all the Jersey Shore attractions.
East Gate itself is situated just minutes from popular New Jersey beaches and the banks of the Shrewsbury River, and is in proximity to the entertainment, dining and culture of Red Bank and Asbury Park. Commuters will enjoy the location — just two miles from NJ Transit’s Little Silver Train Station, which provides direct service to Manhattan, as well as easy access to major highways including routes 35, 36, 18 and the Garden State Parkway.
